No matter what your child’s adventurous ambitions may be, you’ll find them at their best with Kinex Outdoor Adventures! This camp offers fun outdoor non-competitive games and activities that emphasize cooperation, team-work, outdoor exploration and teaches how to create environmental art. Children 7 to 12 years of age will be guided through different outdoor adventure activities. From fort building, to capture the flag, to labyrinth tag, to team building ropes courses, rock climbing, hiking, adventure challenges, orienteering racing or riding our exhilarating zipline or just cooling off in the pool Kinex Academy is committed to running the safest, most exciting outdoor adventure programs in Mill Valley and the Mount Tamalpias region.
Campers are grouped according to age and form groups of 8-10 campers. Each group is assigned a Kinextions Facilitator who oversees the kinex campers’ outdoor adventure day. To ensure that all camp days meet your child’s expectations they will have a say in some of the extra daily activities that we will do and the group will also choose from our detailed itineraries which trails to ride, rocks to climb, ropes course to do offer. With ability and age appropriate groups, a limited student to staff ratio of no more than 8:1, and a group size of no more than twelve students each child is sure to get plenty of individual attention.
