After School Biking Club

Fall Session: Sept 17-Nov 19 - Wednesdays - $400 (10 weeks)

After School Mtn Bike Riding and Instruction on local trails.

Who: Youth in grades 6th thru 8th at Hall Middle

Students from other schools interested in this program should contact us to see if we could establish this club at your school. We need a minimum of 6 riders

Program Description

We pick-up riders from school and take them trail riding at Tenessee Valley, lake Phionex, Alto Bowl and Ring Mountain. Rider should be comfortable and expereinced riding in flats on fire roads, bike paths with some experience off road mountain biking and safe down hill descent on intermediate down hills. The child has either completed the Kinex Intermediate Bike Ed curriculum or is currently riding to school on their own .

This program is for active school youth who want to stay after school and go bike riding with their friends. We supervise and instruct kids on safety issues when they want to attempt more challenging biking activities like small jumps, pump track riding, wheelies, and other bike tricks. Coach to student biker ratio of 1:6. Minimum class size is 4 bikers. Kinex Urban Bike Education Trainers (KUBETs) will provide careful supervision and safety instruction giving riders the opportunity for fun supervised bike riding with friends.

Format

We pick-up bikers right after school at school and take them riding on convenient local trails and drop them back at school. Classes last for approximately 2 hours.

Class Fees:

$400 for 10 weekly 2 hour sessions
