Just because your child is finished learning in the class room at 3:00 pm doesn’t mean your child’s kinesthetic and interpersonal intelligence shouldn’t continue to be educated. Kinex Academy’s programs are more than just games. Our programs are designed to educate and enrich your child’s kinesthetic, emotional and creative intelligence through our after school enrichment programs. We offer programs that enrich each individual’s creative expressive and athletic abilities.

We offer after-school enrichment classes, school based sports leagues, sports skills clinics and workshops, fitness and conditioning training, sports and creative expressive arts mentoring all exclusively designed for children and youth between the ages of 5 to 14 years of age.

We currently offer three after school enrichment programs in the Mill Valley School District: Kinex Fun Clubs (KFC) – a recreational play program that uses the best practices from recreation and play therapy models for the facilitation of recreation groups and the forming of dynamic multiple intelligence learning environments on the playground; our Kinex After-School Athletics Leagues (KASAL) – a school district based elementary school competitive sports league; and we are proud to be introducing our new Creative Expressive Art Explorations –(CEAE) an introductory performing arts educational enrichment and training curriculum for children drawn to self expression through more artistic approaches to movement and communication.

These after-school enrichment programs are all designed to actively engage and educate each child’s kinesthetic, emotional and creative intelligence in fun and fulfilling ways that stimulates and motivates each individual to uncover and honor all that makes each person unique and special.

We currently offer Kinex After School Enrichment Programs in the Mill Valley School District during the regular school year. Other school districts where we intend to introduce programs to include Sausalito, Tiburon and Ross school districts in 2007. All Kinex After School Programs run right after school for kindergarten through 8th grade. Kindergarten programs start at 1:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and grades 1 through 5 typically start at 2:50 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on early dismissal days.
